Dieting Rules 101

If you eat something and no one sees you eat it, it has no calories.

If you drink a diet soda with a candy bar, the calories in the candy bar are canceled out by the diet soda.

When you eat with someone else, calories don't count if you don't eat more than they do.

Food used for medicinal purposes NEVER counts, such as hot chocolate, brandy, toast and Sara Lee Cheesecake.

If you fatten up everyone else around you, then you look thinner.

Movie-related foods (Milk Duds, buttered popcorn, Junior Mints, Red Hots, Tootsie Rolls, etc.) do not have additional calories because they are part of the entertainment package and not part of one's personal fuel.

Cookie pieces contain no calories -- the process of breaking causes calorie leakage.

Things licked off knives and spoons have no calories if you are in the process of preparing something. Examples are peanut butter on a knife making a sandwich and ice cream on a spoon making a sundae.

Foods that have the same color have the same number of calories. Examples are: spinach and pistachio ice cream; mushrooms and white chocolate.

Chocolate is a universal color and may be substituted for any other food color.

Anything consumed while standing over the kitchen sink, has no calories.

boys boys boys

September 4Th through the 19Th i was a FULL time nanny.
i knew this family from Lake Oswego i was a part time nanny for them when they lived there, but stop when they moved to Issaquah WA. the mom and dad where going to South Africa on their 5Th wedding anniversary! (congratulations) the boys 3 1/2 and 1 1/2 years old, and i where left at their house in WA.
wow that's a job, i now know what it will be like to have two young children, they are crazy full of energy!
i probably watched CARS the movie 20 million times, i can pretty much quote it for you! luckily we had a few non-rainy days and where able to visit a few different parks close by!
another saving grace was that a few days a week both boys where in daycare!
i now have a new appreciation for the job i used to HATE so much (KinderCare), on the days the boys where at school i would run arron's or clean so nothing exciting but a break from running through the house and yelling that's for sure!
all in all i have learned a lot about becoming a parent! its the toughest job there is! hats off to all you moms and dads out there! kudos!
